KNX Sonos Gateway using Maestro

CD Innovation the manufacturer and supplier of Maestro, an advanced KNX Server / Gateway, is proud to announce the support of SONOS the advanced wireless home sound system.

Now, Maestro’s latest firmware supports auto detection of SONOS system. Once SONOS is discovered Maestro will automatically build on it’s APP, a user interface for controlling all SONOS zones. This graphic interface lets the end user to take control of SONOS from Maestros App. It enables different functions such as selecting playlist and songs, setting volume and triggering play, stop and next.

Maestro’s graphic interface follows SONOS configuration in real time, so for example if the user will combine a few SONOS devices then Maestro’s user interface will control all those grouped devices simultaneously. All of the above is done automatically by the Maestro, without the need of any intervention by the System integrator or the end user!.

Moreover; Maestro real time interface enables pairing SONOS commands and feedbacks to other Maestro elements such as KNX telegrams thus serving as SONOS to KNX gateway enabling KNX switches to control SONOS. In addition, it is possible to combine SONOS commands in macros, schedules and even in logic function – Playing, Muting or changing Volume level depending on room sensors and more…
